What to Bring
Heed the old adage "pack light."
The weather will range from mild to warm to very warm, and consequently you will not need a great deal of clothing. Bring items comfortable and easy care. We suggest cotton or linen. Shorts and tops for warm afternoons are perfect. It is a good idea to include a sweater or light jacket for the evenings if you are visiting during the winter months. Bring a raincoat or umbrella for the rainy season months of mid-June through September.
Simple shoes and sandals for walking along the beach and garden paths are a necessity. A pair of sturdier shoes is recommended if you are adventurous and plan to explore, hike, or go touring. If you enjoy playing in the Pacific, include a pair of beach/water shoes. Large beach towels are provided for your convenience.
Be sure to bring sunglasses, swim suits and plenty of sun tan lotion.
It is important to make sure you have sufficient medication, prescription medications and allergy antidotes, as they could be difficult to find locally.
And, don't forget your favorite CDs and books.
Who wrote that old adage anyway? Pack light? Well............try!
